Moin Persian Dictionary 4.0

The Moein Dictionary is a significant Persian lexicon developed approximately five decades ago. Its creator, Dr. Mohammad Moein, firmly believed that no comprehensive dictionary could be the endeavor of a single individual. Rather, it is a product of collaborative efforts, incorporating around 300,000 entries compiled with the help of esteemed colleagues and more than 400 students over a span of 20 years.

As a researcher, Dr. Moein was known for his pragmatic and trustworthy nature. He consistently maintained a balanced perspective and steered clear of bias, attributes that led many luminaries of Iranian literature, including Allameh Dehkhoda and Nima Yushij, to entrust him with the continuation of their own works.

The dimensions of Dr. Moein's life are clear and well-defined, characterized by notable qualities such as dignity, eloquence, compassion, expertise in texts, and exceptional grammatical understanding. His contributions culminated in the creation of a six-volume Persian dictionary, which serves as a monumental service to the literary community.
